Automated Passenger Counting

One of the most popular modules Syncromatics offers is our fully integrated automated passenger counting solution. APC has two components: real-time information on capacity of a bus shown to riders (below), and reporting for agency use (left). Several of our customers have used APC data and analysis from our route management solution to combine routes, balance service with demand, and reduce vehicle turnover; effectively achieving the same or better service with less resources. This has produced return on investment for several of our clients; Syncromatics also won the 2007 California Clean Tech Open, a competitive $100,000 prize for sustainable transportation solutions.
